Saban says TUA plays Sat.
I know better than to question the lord and master of football but I gotta wonder as fragile as TUA appears to be and him apparently nursing that knee that it's such a great idea to play him . Unless it has something to do with the Heisman looming in the background .

Pretty sure it has nothing to do with the Heisman since it is against The Citadel.... Maybe he is wanting to play him a qtr or so to polish up on some plays for the following week.

If a blitzing backer pops his knee out he will never hear the end

Yep. Kinda stupid imo. Espically Jalen already hurt. Even if Jalen was healthy why not let Tua rest his knee? Surely Saban isn't worried about Citadel... :rotf: :rotf:

I have a sneaky feeling the O line won't have much trouble protecting him.
He can go out and play the first quarter, throw 10 or 15 passes with 3 or 4 touchdowns and a 100% pass completion stat then go chill on the sidelines with some more padding on his stats.
Mac Jones gets to play much ole hurts will be dropping down another string in his position too. :D

exactly, nick saban is the last person thats gonna put Tua out there when he shouldn't be. from what i hear its a stage 1 PCL sprain. its sore, it hurts. several players discover at NFL combine physicals they have a PCL sprain.

This is what Saban must have meant when he said they needed to do a better job of protecting TUA
