TUA

You can't make this stuff up :rotf: !

Tagovailoa's near-perfect 24-of-27, 318-yard and four-touchdown outing overshadowed an impressive day from Murray, who finished with 417 yards of total offense and three scores and was chased throughout by the Crimson Tide's front seven.

Tua is great no doubt, but what would Tua's numbers have been if he were being chased by the Bama's front 7 :pop: :D ? I'll give you a hint, look back at the GA game ;) ! That's where Tua lost the Heisman!

I think the correct question was what would his numbers have been had he been healthy all year and played 4 quarters.

The last game and games before his knee injury show what he can really do.

People like to throw Tua under the bus for the SEC championship but they seem to forget that at least 5 balls were dropped that they normally have no problem catching. Those could have got a lot of yardage or possibly even TD runs. Tua did his part on those passes; it's not his fault that they weren't caught. He came back in the semi final game and showed what he could do. I think he had 3 incomplete passes that game...and one of those was the catch to Jeudy that was taken away and would have put them in scoring position. Kyler threw at least two balls that should have been picked off...right into the hands of the Bama defense but they couldn't hold on to them.

But I will say...in the SEC championship, I thought he kept trying to go for those long pass plays and kept waiting too long in the pocket for the big play. He should have been throwing those fast slants and getting 1st downs instead of going for 45 yard long passes every time he had the ball. I think he learned from that...played much more disciplined in the semi final game. Move those sticks.

I think everyone saw who the real QB was at the semi final game . He left no doubt on the field
