Anyone seen or heard any turkey out at yanahli. Don't have to tell me where, just wandering cause I haven't seen or heard any.

I use to put the boat in off Iron Bridge Rd and go up-river.
Right past the old bridge on left, pull up and hunt. Didnt have to walk far.
Several burds in that area, but they are every where along the Duck.
Great turkey hunting area.
Contact GW at Yanalhi-good guy. Should be able to give you good advice.

There are plenty of birds on Yanahli. Cheeks Bend off Iron Bridge Rd has alot. Also check the property off Hwy 50. Get your walking boots on because where you will have to park.

Its a wma in maury co. Has more deer killed there than any other wma except for cherokee.

First time I went to yanahli I saw a flock of turkeys including a couple gobblers by the road...second time was a deer hunting trip and saw fresh turkey tracks out in one of the fields at cheeks bend. Definitely going there in the spring for turkeys. Also going to deer hunt again in the second gun season to try and get my first deer.
