Got a new Beretta and can't decide which type of extra-full turkey choke to get. Leaning toward a pattern master(this is what i shot in a Winchester SX3 for the past couple seasons), but would like to hear from others if you've tried diff chokes.

how'd they shoot?

dont know anything about a pattern master except for waterfowl hunting.

There is another choke tube thread on here and you will get a bunch of opinions on what to use. Best bet is to see if anyone has you exact gun and what they shoot and start there if they have good results.

there are a bunch of very good chokes out there but nothing is guaranteed to shoot great, all comes down to what your gun likes (choke and ammo). IMO ammo is as important if not more then the choke so get the best ammo you can afford.

Indian creek, sumtoy, pure gold and kicks are all great chokes to use as well as jelly head and star dot.

if you plan on using lead, PM spit he has a sweet choke (comp n choke made by kicks) for sale for a gun that should fit yours as well at a great price.

I have a Rem. Choke Kick's GT .665.... here is my pattern pre-polished 26" barrel with Win. Sup. HV #5's @ 40yds:

What about comp n chokes? I keep seeing commercials for them but personally don't know anyone who uses one. I bought a new mossberg 535 with the 20 inch barrel and haven't decided what choke to use. They are just too epensive to just try out!

XX full ported Accu-Choke in my gun and I shoot Win Supreme high velocity 3" turkey loads, and with this combo killed 3 hens in 1 shot at 20 yards. Gets the job done
