Eating soup with a fork is tougher than with a spoon but that don't make it the best way to go about it. oke:

All kidding aside I don't care how you get it done... to each their own.

Everyone in the woods thinking they've got a 80 yd. turkey gun is a bigger concern to me than people deer hunting turkeys.

Ain't that the truth. I've never paid 2 cents attention to a tight choke really. Don't take much when they're 20 yards.

People treating shotguns like rifles are a completely different conversation.

Statements like "He wouldn't hold still enough" or "he came in on the wrong side and I couldn't turn" make me cringe. I wouldn't dream of shooting a duck, quail, dove or rabbitt with a scope/sights on my shotgun. IMO, you should treat them like shotguns and learn how to shoot them and a turkey is in bad shape inside 40.

We got one here that bow hunts turkey without blind or decoy on public land...I might just film him
this year so cow-hunter can see how a real hunter does it... oke:

I don't use a blind either, however I usually carry one hen decoy with me. I'd love to tag along with that guy one day just to watch him work...
