Turkey meat???

I soak mine in 7up or Sprite for 24 hours. Will tenderize it and actually add a hint of sweet to it.

Never seen the need to tenderize turkey breast, just cut out the tendon that runs through the middle. I will pound it so it is uniform in thickness but it's already pretty tender.

I always use a brine before smoking the whole breast. Keeps the internal meat moist.
Just thaw the breast (or fresh is even better), brine over night and smoke. Super easy and well worth it.
