So the guys from Chattanooga will know what I am talking about here. This morning about 8:30 I am driving north on Hwy 153, which is a 4 lane divided Hwy. I cross the Chickamauga Dam and TVA is on the left side of the hwy. Now I have seen Toms in their yard before, but today I look across the hwy and there are 2 Toms strutting in the Emergency Lane!! Honestly I was afraid they were going to strut into the traffic, their heads were no more than 3 feet from the passing traffic. Just as I pass I look at them and they both gobble at the same time!! I was relieved when I came back by that they were not dead in the road. Pretty crazy!

They really are some stupid birds. Most fun stupid critter to hunt in the woods.

I bet that was a sight to see.

Brings back memories of my adolescent self. I remember the stupid stuff I did for the female species; sneaking out, skipping class, calling in sick for work, fighting, etc. if memory serves me correct I don't think I ever strutted in a road...never mind. One time in college I stood in the road outside my girls friends (now wife) dorm, with the help of a megaphone from my fraternity, I apologized for my previous wrong doings with a made up chant. 1:00 am on a weeknight wasn't the best time to do this, I think everyone, except her, came out to see what the intoxicated dumba$@ was doing.

I didn't see them there yesterday, but I have before. I had a big longbeard cross the road on me on Hunter Road the other day. I guess he was going to the next subdivision to see what they had to eat :D
