Has anyone ever done this to their bow. Any negatives other than the smell?
Hoss said:It works pretty well on target bows. Keep the paste away from the crevices, like where the limbs and riser come together. If you get the paste in those tight places it is very difficult to get it out. If you have access to a bow press, you can disassemble the bow, wax it and reassemble. Remove all attachments and polish them also.
If the bow is camo. Don't do this!! the matte finish will hold the polish and your finish will be ruined.

Hoss said:Like I said. Only wax a target model with shiny riser and limbs. If you try to wax a matte finish bow you will make a mess or if you have a bow with the vinyl coating like Bowtech even their target bows may be off limits. But if you have a bow with a painted and/or fiberglass finish you can wax it to shine and polish it for a great look.
