Twist?

Is this Normal? What makes an antler twist like this right main beam? Never seen it before.

Looks like his G-2 is drooped down. Probably injured it in early velvet and it collapsed. I have seen some small bucks like this. I dont think its a twist.
 
Yep, we had one that looked exactly like this last year. Was thinking that when the velvet came off he would loose the tine. I was wrong, it held on and the only time I saw him was during the youth season.

Do you mind me asking the area the pic was taken? Mine was around Lewisburg.
 
Pretty cool monsterbuck007. Haven't seen one with the G2 dropped down on the inside like that.
 
Well I looked back and y'all were correct it's the buck I had named "flip flop". Don't know why I didn't think of it because I have tons of pictures of him. I'll be interested to see if it falls off when he sheds. And unless your buck moved a long way it's not him these are in Huntsville, Al. Thanks guys.

This one looks like the same thing happened. Will this carry over to next year?

Possible. But those type injuries generally fade over time.
