Went down there this weekend to check out the shop and have the draw weight changed on a new used bow I bought. Harvie not only didn't charge me to setup the bow he also took me out to his indoor range to fling a few and help me with some tips. Great shop and great people. If I had been in that place any longer my wife would have left me. Top notch gear at good prices. He said they will have leagues starting up in Nov. as well.

I don't mean for this to come off as a commercial. I don't have a dog in this hunt. However, when a business is good to me then I like to return the favor.

Isn't this the place in Sparta? I've also heard good things from them. Let me ask you.. did he have a good selection of fletchings?
 
Yeah it's in Sparta. That ol boy had a good selection of everything. To be honest I wasn't expecting a whole lot because of the location but it had it all.

Even had the apparel from the Mathews website cheaper than Mathews has it.

Not to mention he raises elk out back and has an impressive collection of sheds. I meant to ask if he sells em. If you had a cool cabin that'd be awesome to hang those over the fireplace!
 
It's crazy that new shops are poppin up with hard times and all. Didn't another big one just open in Memphis somewhere. Seems like I remember hearing about another one that opened up somewhere else in TN.
 
Another opened in Franklin as well. Right next door to where they are holding that Wildlife Expo I believe. Not too far from my office (Brentwood) but I haven't made it down there yet. Bein a country boy I try to get in and out of the city as quickly as possible with few stops......
 
I'm looking forward to visiting the U Need It shop. The Sparta crew travel to 3D tournaments and are by all accounts a great bunch. They are carrying New Breed bows, which seem like good products.

The shop in Franklin is small, but he's added new merchandise everytime I've stopped by. Glad to have a shop close to home now.
 
That's cool that they will be carrying new breed. Jay have you heard if any one is going to pick up Strother's new line? sorry to hijack

Not yet, but I'm listening for it. I want to shoot the strothers and new breed bows. I've shot the new breed, but it was 1.5" too long. Hard to get a good feel like that.
 
New Breed Archery makes some good looking bows. Good ATA and brace height.. I hope somebody close starting carrying this brand of bows.

I don't believe they did. I could be mistaken though. I will check again this weekend. I'm going down there to change out my sights.

I only recall seeing Mathews and High Country......
