It's really stupid on their part.
Got a chance to make a really good living playing a game and they had rather get high or steal.
Boneheads!

Thing that gets me.....
1. A leader on the team
2. Killing ur draft stock
3. Not the first time
4. A junior not a freshman. I can see giving a freshman a pass (even though they know) but as a junior who has been caught before, a leader that should be looked up to, leaving after this year for the NFL.

I know every school has them but dang!

I wonder if legalized weed has helped recruiting in Colorado.

Recreational use is also legal in Alaska, California, DC, Massachusetts, Maine, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. Doubtful it has helped recruiting, as the players still get tested for it and it's "illegal" for NCAA purposes (I'm pretty sure). Another 29 states, plus DC, legalize "medical weed." I've read articles where NFL players have said well over 50% of the league uses marijuana for pain management. It much better than prescription opioids as it doesn't lead to heroin overdoses. I wonder if a player one day will refuse a drug test on the grounds that it violates his rights under HIPAA?

In fact, medical marijuana is legal in Florida. Don't know what the requirements in FL are to use it legally for medical reasons, but I'd think if there's a "dispensary" anywhere in that state it would be in Gainesville.
