Glad Rick barnes didnt take off last year his player development is among the best in the NCAA .
We seen him take three 3* players all they did was lead UT to a #1 ranking win like 28 stright home games a streak that's still alive, and get them to the NBA.
Just look at pons this year from last he looks so much better so does Bowden . Now his getting some better recruits in.
People counted them out after losing 4 starters, but they 3-0 right now.

Pons improvement is remarkable. He looks like a basket ball player now, instead of a great athlete playing basketball.
A good post game will give us fits, but with our guards, we should be able to stay in most games. They are fun to watch!

In the newest AP Poll that was released Monday, Tennessee came in at No. 20, making their debut in the top 25 this season. The Vols are a perfect 3-0 on the year and have won every game by double-digits, including an impressive 13-point victory over then-No. 20 Washington up in Toronto on Saturday. Tennessee led the Huskies for 38 and a half minutes of game time and led by double-digits for most of the game.

Very much agree with all this. Wish Plavsic had gotten cleared to play (NCAA makes no sense most of the time), but we still would struggle with teams that have depth in big men.
Not a lot of expectations this year compared to last, so it's almost feels like they're playing with house money waiting on that monster class to arrive. But, I think we'll compete and I hope overachieve for Lamonte & Bowden's sakes. They've been a big part of making this program relevant and they deserve good senior seasons.
Still haven't switched my focus to basketball while football is going on but I am excited to watch this bunch play this season. Should make it to a game or three too.

I'm shocked too with the Plavsic decision seeing exact examples every where else getting cleared, while Memphis played with a known ineligible player and told the NCAA to kiss off???
