I bought a charger from tractor supply for $180 and a rollof regular heavy wire and a roll of the heavy electric rope.I used regular fence posts mostly inside for the wire and step in insulated posts for the outside rope. Both fences are around 1300' total I think, maybe 2 acres. 2 of the pictures are taken from a box type stand.Im not sure of the exact costs but Im sure I have at least $400 in my fence.Im going to add another one next year to a different field to protect a chestnut tree planting and about another 3 acres of food. Its easy to do and a good project for a day. Fruit trees will continue to get cages raised up sitting ion a 5 gallon bucket for watering and fertilizing purposes.(plus, when the plums or whatever falls off,the deer can eat them or I can pick them up)
