Took the dog for his walk this morning and saw a couple bucks. The 9 was a 6 last time I saw him a couple months ago. He is a 8 with a kicker on his left side cool little deer.

Awesome! Saw some of those deer on my honeymoon. I was told they were there, but it sure surprised me when we saw some

They arrested a bunch of Dominican kids for shooting wild chickens with a BB gun at one of the dumpsters a while back here. These people would lose their stuff if you killed a deer. I see them pretty regular while running in the mornings. Lots more of them on St John.

I was on my run this morning and saw these 2 again. The bigger racked buck was already sporting hard antlers but the smaller buck was still in velvet. Got within 10 feet of them both! Was surprised he had shed the velvet already.

They are smaller but not like key deer small. I would say those bucks field dressed would be 70-90 pounds.

Very interesting!

My wife and I run in a ministry in Jamaica and they are having issues with deer on the northeast part of the island. It seems that way back in 1988 a herd of 6 escaped from their pen after Hurricane Gilbert hit Jamaica. Many Jamaican farms are less than an acre in size, so the deer are devastating the livelihood of some farmers. The government is looking into how best to manage the deer. Considerations are being given to allowing hunting of the deer, including by some vacationing on the island.
