Using releases with forward triggers

Anyone else that had trouble switching from a standard release to one with a forward trigger? The move to a D loop several years ago cost me some draw length I want to get back. A forward trigger release certainly increases DL.

However, I am having trouble establishing a consistent, comfortable anchor with the new releases. Any ideas?

unsure what you mean by forward trigger...what model release are you shooting?
