I got one in the mail today. Did anyone else get one? Here are some of the things it ask.

How satisfied are you with season length?
How satisfied are you with the timing of opening and closing?
How satisfied are you with bag limits?
Would you support increasing the current daily bag limit from 1 to 2 without changing the season limit?
How have turkey population changed in the areas you hunt?
If wildlife biologists recommended adjustments in TN would you consider reducing the bag limit in the spring to 3?

There were 51 questions total asking just about everything you could imagine about seasons, bag limits, killing hens etc.

I filled it out and will send it back to them. I told them I wanted a 2 turkey limit with BR's (beard restrictions). Both turkeys must have a beard at least 8.5" long. Also has to weigh over 20lbs. :D

On a serious note, TWRA really needs to look at reducing bag limits in West Tennessee. Our turkey population is on the decline while Middle Tennessee's flocks continues to expand. In my opinion TWRA should be taking a pro-active position on this matter instead of a reactive one.

yes one of the questions said something like would I be opposed to having different bag limits for each region and of course I wouldn't. it said something about the turkey population decreasing in some areas of the state.

Our numbers seem to be down in my area. Rumor of a disease that is spread through chicken manure is to blame.

Alot of mid TN counties are declining at a serious rate just like west TN. I drive home from the Boro to Woodbury every morning between 7 to 8. 1 particular fall flock few years ago was easily 40 to 50 birds. This year, 3 birds. That's it. Every flock is as low as I ever seen in fall flocks. I'm telling you guys, the problem is serious. We talk about it in the spring. But right now is when you should be estimating your numbers, and its terrible in ALOT of places, and gonna worse for the others!

I didn't get the survey unfortunately.

I see the population declining significantly in some areas, but also increasing in others.
