I've seen a few posts where users complain about difficulty accessing the remote plug-in and SD card on the NT50B. I spent half the season with the same problems, getting down on my knees to plug in the remote without taking the camera off the tree. Then I stumbled on to the following.
Using the standard security box which I got when I purchased the camera from The Huntin Shack, I attach the box to the tree with the strap. Then I place the camera into the box and attach it to the tree and box with the python cable lock. With the box open, the camera will rotate on the cable so that I have easy access while standing to the remote port, SD card, and batteries. See the picture below.
Now if I can just get this camera to work.
