I wonder what he thinks about putting girls on the football team as an overtly unnecessary show of diversity when there are plenty of current players capable of playing the position?

Last I looked, the SEC sponsored 14 sports.

There was a time in some of our life times that the faculty of at least some blue blood schools had to vote and approve a football team's
bowl bid.

There's a difference when one is a fan, but not an Alumni.

Believe it or not, there are universities who care more about scholarship and research than football. And spend their money accordingly.
Vandy has enough endowment money to hire Saban, build the best facilities and not effect their scholarship and research.

Any alumni of Alabama would lose their minds if the endowment was spent on Nick Saban's salary or to upgrade football facilities, plus a lot of endowment funds are restricted. These are still institutions of higher learning.

Alternatively, look at it like a business. What is the net profit (loss) of the Vanderbilt football program? What's the net profit of Vanderbilt Medical Center? Which program should get the larger budget allocation?

He's got imminent Heisman Trophy winner sarah fuller - probably the best job change he's ever made. If he can redshirt her, the commodes will go undefeated in 2021.

They should have just promoted Sarah Fuller to head coach, it is just the logical next step in her illustrious football career. I mean did you see they way she kicked those footballs?
