Cannot get this thing right.... I am using a QAD dropaway & if I turn the odd vane out, I get contact with the rest.... If I put the odd vane up, I get cable contact....
Any thoughts....
It just seems that the cables are really close on these bows... Alot closer than My Strother...

It is the Ultra rest pro & it does have a straight cable rod... As for pics, I'll have to get to that later.... I'll try to get some....
The cam seems to be pretty straight at rest and very little lean at full draw....

It could be a number of things. What kind of vanes are you running? There are some bows out there that you cannot shoot the high profile short vanes (like Blazers) because of hitting the cables.

^^^^ this as well.

I had the same problem with my qad hunter,I was ready to chuck it in the trash.then I tried the 1/8in taller fork that came with the rest like the instructions said and reset nock height.problem solved simple as that.

He has the pro model , it isn't supposed to have the bounce back issues that the hunter model has , but if you contact QAD and tell them your issue they will let you know if they have had issues before and even send you the parts to fix it for free .

Is your center shot correct?

More of what I was thinking. While numerous things could be wrong, centershot and/or a rest timing issue is my number one suspect without being able to physically see it for myself. Are you certain it is timed correctly and you are not getting contact even when you think you aren'ta little bit of your wife's lipstick on the launcher arms will leave marks on the fletching or arrow shaft and will let you know.

this is why I asked and was hoping for a pic .

Wow folks a much bigger problem has been discovered... My son drew it back this afternoon & I noticed the top layer of lamination on the upper limb was cracked and a few slivers popping up..... This ain't good.. I got it in a trade and it looks like I will be making an untrade....lol
