I ordered a set of strings and cable from Vapor Trail Monday and they arrived today. That is two day shipping from MN and they shipped the day I ordered them. I am looking forward to shooting these new strings. Hopefully I won't cut them! :D I am getting a back up set of strings :eek:from Parker free of charge since they are replacing the cam under warranty. The cam should be in Friday so I hope to be shooting again Saturday. I've heard mostly good things about Vapor Trail.

BTW...this has been tough not getting to shoot my bow, so when I am shooting again hopefully this weekend, I am not messing with anything. I will still wax my strings of course.

i'd like to have one of VP's limb driver rests.
Bob you need to try it... you will like it.

i absolutely love mine. 10 min to install, 5 min to tune. if you prestretch the cable you dont have to touch it again, i put 1000 shots thru it and still shoots the same as the first shot.

its a bit pricey but well made and well worth it, imo.

Is it that easy to tune? How do you tune it?

bolt on the rest, place mole skin pad on the shelf, adjust rest for center shot, and center of riser bolt, adjust spring tension so that the arrow smoothly rises. attach string bracket with spring to riser, pull down thru hole in rest arm, hold rest down, tighten set screw and your done. attach arrow holder. shoot thru paper then walk back tune.

i didnt have to make any adjustments after i put mine on, it shot perfectly. dont have to readjust cause it doesnt work off the cables, it works right opposite of most other rests.
