I was raised in CO and my Dad (born in 1900) used to make the best venison jerky. Problem is I was 6 years old back then and never got his recipe. I remember the jerky hanging in the garage for the winter and it was covered with pepper. Does anyone have any original whole meat jerky recipes that don't have a bunch of garbage in them? (no teriyaki sauce or soy sauce stuff) I am looking for old world recipes.
