I grew up hunting and fishing. Last year was my first time turkey hunting and it was an experience I will never forget. I called the turkey in and our oldest son shot his first gobbler.
This year we have a new hunting blind with more room (thank goodness) and we also ordered a strut decoy.
That is a good bit of money for us. So we are very excited. We now will have a strutter, jake, and hen.

Awesome man. Some here are purists and despise decoys and blinds, but family time trumps that. My 15 year old son and I have spent many, many hours in a blind together as he grows up. That's quality time and he will never forget it. Good luck!

Amen Spurhunter. We have also spent a many of hours shooting and deer hunting. This turkey talk is such a new and exciting time.
