just reloaded my very first cartridge
 am i starting a new hobby or another bad habit?
thanks for all your input
idid go with the rcbs rock chucker press

Not a bad habit at all it can be addictive though.
If single hope u find a lady that enjoys shooting or one that says get your butt out of the house an to the woods u need u some u time

If you haven't already you are gonna want to buy that programmable electric powder measure/ scale. That's when the bad habit starts getting expensive. Well worth the dough in accuracy and speed.

Congrats. Ditto to what fairchaser said, and then you will want a progressive for speed and so on, lol.

I started with a single and now run two progressives presses and have more reloading crap around than ill ever use.

If you only reload rifle cartridges you don't need all the progressive stuff. Sometimes I crawl into my man cave, put on some bluegrass music, and spend the evening reloading 20 rifle shells. Very relaxing.

Oh your poor bank account.
on the front end yes but, for rounds like the 350 rem mag,
358 winchester, 284 and even the 41 mag i gonna break even really quick
i've already got the brass so the primers, powder and projectiles are what i'm going to have to buy
since most of my shooting is done at a hundred yards or less
i'm loading my 35 rem, 35 whelen and 358 winchester with the same 200 gr rn and i will be able to do the same with some of the other calibers
