Anyone ever check out MS states turkey hunting pages? I was very impressed. They have print offs hunters can send in for feedback of their hunting, gobble reports, broad surveys, etc. Very valuable information for the hunter and the agency. That is probably the most top notch management tools I ever seen by a state for their game.

Yes. I've read through most of the surrounding states turkey websites and read many of the PDFs (research, turkey reports, etc) over the years. There is some pretty good stuff on some of them.

I know when I hunted Florida and Alabama just once apiece I received surveys after the season was over. I thought that was neat, I've never gotten a survey here.

All 3 of those states have budgets that come from taxes by the state. A lot bigger budget than TWRA. I agree, it would be nice for twra to have the money to do this but we are talking about totally different budgets
