I just watched a you tube on cuz Stricklands vest contents. Wow. He sure don't carry much. His go to call was a tube. I've never even fooled with one. Eye opening for sure.

You got a link? I use a tube call too. I've never owned a vest, never really wanted to. Maybe when I'm older the built in backrest will be nice. Lol

His go to call was a tube.

Some of the best old heads around here use tube calls 100% of the time. In the right hands, they are pretty deadly, most likely because they produce a unique rarely heard sound when compared to other calls.

I've had someone on OG send me some, you can also buy from Theraband online, but when you really need it quick go buy some latex gloves and cut pieces out of them.

If I didn't know better I would say Cuz did a vest dump on my vest. Only difference between his and mine is the tube call and owl hooter. I use a Tom Turpin trumpet call in place of his tube call and I hoot with my voice if I feel the need.

I use a tube call every time I go at some point. From using it as a shock gobble to hen and hake calls to aggressive make gobbles it's awesome.


I'm down to very few items in my vest these days. 1 pot call and a few strikers, wear my tube and a few mouth calls in a lanyard and usually some water in the back is about it.
