Set up the bow for field archery just so I have something to shoot in the backyard , and maybe I will get to shoot the state shoot next month . I have to say , after shooting the unforgiving stiff x killer arrows for 3-D , I had forgotten how good properly spined and tuned arrows shot . This is by far my best group at 50 yards . I have never shot a bow so well in my life . The dominator and I are a great fit . Crow , I'm probably going to shoot these for 3-d from now on . I think the forgiveness will probably outweigh the occasional line pull . Should have listened to you earlier ;)
5 arrows really close and one I that I dropped my bow arm quite a bit and it still hit fairly well .

Yep. This is something I've ran into at the local shoots this yr as well. When the season first started I was getting a lot of strange looks by shooting a non traditional size arrow for 3D. I had people in my groups question me as to why I wasn't shooting those 22 Series or bigger arrows. Now they don't question it anymore. :D

If I were shooting unknown distance, I would be looking for a bigger arrow. My yardage judging is not the best and any edge I could gain via getting closer to a line would be a plus. But since I am in an known yardage class...this isn't as crucial. What IS crucial...is being able to pick a spot and hit it with uncanny precision. I couldn't find a bigger shaft that I could get to do that for me. When I was shooting them, I had a hard time getting them to group as good as I wanted. Oh...they would group. Just not as tight as I wanted them to be. Such as in your pic above. What I had to do was take one or maybe two arrows and set my sight to that particular arrow and hope nothing happened to it during a 3D round. Each one had their own unique flight pattern. When I dropped back to the regular size carbon arrows in my spine...they were just so much easier to tune and grouped so well. It made picking out those spots and hitting them a lot easier.
