I had a few people asking for the video of the King Of The Roost. I had to do some editing to get the video short enough to upload. I had a little over 30 minutes of video with this gobbler; I was able to shorten the video down to 14 minutes. I should not have been able to video this Osceola gobbler at all that morning. I parked my truck at the property owners house and walked a half-mile to the field where I set a blind up so I could use a tri-pod for the camera. The property owner had a new lab puppy and it came running out when I parked the truck and followed my over the to field. I was putting out my decoys and had just finished when I turned around and the Lab puppy had the hen decoy in his mouth and he would not give it to me. I chased the puppy a half-mile back to the house and had to give him my hat to get the decoy back. By this time it was starting to get light and I ran the half-mile back to the field and the Lab pup again followed me and I grabbed him by his collar and threw him in the blind with me. I started calling while the camera was on the tri-pod and you will see that I had the camera on a deer and calling at the same time. I looked out the side window and saw the mature gobbler come running out of the tree line onto the field. You can see me picking up the camera and tripod and getting the camera back on the decoys in the nick of time. The rest of the video speaks for itself. Enjoy it, Stoner

Man I know some boys that would pay high dollars for roosters that could spur that good :) and for as smart as we think turkeys are, I really wonder what these Toms are thinking when they hit a decoy.

Very cool. You have more patience than me. I would have shot him in the first 2 minutes. :D Did you shoot him?

I took that video back in 06 after I had limited out for the season so I did not shoot him. I just enjoy calling in turkeys and taking pictures and video. I enjoy calling for first time turkey hunters, that is just as enjoyable as shooting the gobbler myself.

why does he keep trying to "HUMP" the gobbler decoy?

Great video!!!!!!!!!!

is that a pretty boy or B-Mobile?

Pretty Boy and Pretty Girl. That video came in third in the country for a video contest using Pretty Boy and Pretty Girl decoys.
