my first shot at a deer with a compound bow, and I think everything went wrong that could have. Glow knock didn't work, terrible shot at 26 yards and 25 is my first pin. My wife who was working the camera said she heard an extra click as soon as the arrow left so we don't know if the mechanical broad head flew open before impact and went crazy in the air because I missed like a foot high and 2 feet back from where I aimed. This is what normally happens when I practice if a band breaks on the broad head before impact but who knows. Could have just been a terrible shot on my part.

Yeah I would get away from those bands and get some fixed blades or some Reapers. I had some mechanicals that had the bands, I didn't like them at all.

They're expensive, but they do the trick. A 30-06 can't match the blood trails I've seen from the 2 blades

FWIW, you do know it is illegal to hunt IN the interstate median, right?

You'll get it all right soon, but isn't it great to be in the woods? (or field in your case)

ha ha thanks, i'm going to try and get it all on video again this saturday, but from what i've been hearing around the house I will be the one behind the camera this weekend.
