Joshua Dobbs isnt any good. (16-21 1 TD , 76 yds rushing 2 TD, 1 int. TaxSlayer Bowl MVP)
Jalen Hurd is soft, too tall and stays injured all the time. (122 yds rushing 2 TD)
Butch Jones plays not to lose. ( HB pass to Marlin Lane thrown to Vic Wharton for a WIDE OPEN TD)
TN was supposed to get dominated on both sides of the line of scrimmage in this game. Iowa o line with Scherff was supposed to gash TN running up the gut. What I saw was a well prepared TN team readyo play. TN did not allow Iowa to run the ball up the middle resulting in Iowa trying to run outside. TN speed didnt allow that either. TN o line played their best game of the year IMO. Jalen Hurd ran early and often where ever he wanted. Dobbs was dialed in. TN wanted this win and Iowa simply forgot to show up. Go Vols.

It is obvious Dobb's touch is coming around. The back-shoulder throw on the TD to Pearson was a great throw.
It reminded me that he had a fade pass in the first half sail high, which has been is MO. They came back to it later and he laid it in there nicely then.

I Don't think Dobbs and the players around Dobbs are gonna do anytime But get better between now and next season.

I was pleased with ever facet of the game,its kinda a downer knowing Dobbs will be a junior next season,just hoping Jennings will be another Dobbs,also looking forward to seeing Dormady play this spring.The Vols will be OK on the qb front for a few more years
