I read this on another forum.
Many MArching bands and drum corps have gone to a all season costume as opposed the the traditional band or corps uniform for the exact reason that happened to this trumpet player.
Its really a sad thing throwing out tradition for safety of the members but something that has to be addressed.

I saw it happen live, and I was shocked at how long he laid there motionless before someone got to him.
