You seeing the stuff surrounding Celina Summers' book? Explains a lot of how we are in the mess that we are in. Butch should be in jail, as well as ALL of those above him!

Can someone .. ANYONE .. tell me how one of these kids didn't beat the ever living --- out of that ----a----------?

Because he was the ultimate authority in their lives. Marlin Lane explained it to me when I asked him the same question. He said:

"He picked on players that he knew couldn't defend themselves. Kind of tough seeing that from a coach. You can't fly off on a coach. Can't say what you want to a coach. His character—it was unreal what he would do to guys," Lane said. "The assistant coaches did what they had to do because of the head coach. He'd get in coaches' faces in front of the team and threaten to fire them on the spot if they didn't do things his way. The coaches started treating players the way Coach Jones treated them. If Coach told you to do something, you were going to do it."

And Mykelle explained that Butch had infiltrated every aspect of his players' lives.

"We had like a team advisor. You know, you go to him and just talk to him, you know what I'm saying? Just talk to him. The guy's not supposed to tell anybody what you talk about at all. I did find out later on, the more I talked to him, the more I told him, the more he was going back to coach and telling him everything. So I got to talking to him and I was just going back and forth, getting his opinion and expressing my opinion as far as how I feel about playing on my knee right now and thinking about whether I wanna fix it or whether I want to go ahead and have the surgery. And the first day I actually tell him about it, later on that day in a team meeting, Coach Jones was… he didn't say my name, didn't mention any name at all, but he started saying that: 'If you're thinking about having surgery instead of playing, don't be a -----. Man up and help your team out.' Didn't say any names but I'm not stupid. I clearly know who he was just talking about."

Lends a whole new meaning to the term "big brother" doesn't it?

I've got the book but haven't started reading it yet. I'm reading Mark Nagi's Decade of Dysfunction now.

While I agree that Butch Jones was a cancer to the team and everyone around him I cant give the guy in the video much credit. I am not sure if it was one of those 2 videos( I didn't watch) but I seen one with the same guy said that he had an "inoperable CONTUSION" on his collarbone. He lost me when he talked about they could not operate on his BRUISE.
