Vols and Gators

Got a hypothetical question.

What if vandy would have knocked off Florida today, and all the teams the vols needed to lose lost, vols win out and won the east, and then won the championship game in Atlanta, would they have made the playoffs for winning the sec even with Their record?

If that would have happened would the playoffs been void of an sec team? (Vermins wet dream scenario)

Florida could have lost today to Vanderbilt and still win the east by beating South Carolina next week

The Vols were mathematically out of it before any games were played today because the Gators had only two SEC games left. Even if the Gators lost those games, the Gators would win the tie breaker.

The only team that could of won the East before today was Vandy. They would of had the beat the Gators and run the table.... :)
