The Vols are gaining more hype each day,now ESPN :party: :party: :party:

Lots of hype coming from ESPN. Everyones expectations are high for next year but is ESPN taking it to a new level? I hope they're right.

From their Predicted New Years 6 Matchups

"Sugar Bowl: Tennessee-Baylor
I wanted to pick one more surprise, and this is it. But there are good reasons to like Tennessee, even though the Vols may still be a year away from being a top-10-caliber team. Joshua Dobbs was inserted to the lineup halfway through last season but still managed to finish 21st in Total QBR and looks like a star in the making. Tennessee has 18 returning starters and plenty of experience on both sides of the line. The Vols also are coming off back-to-back top-five recruiting classes. And while no SEC schedule is easy, only the trip to Tuscaloosa looks like a probable loss. Ten wins for this team isn't a stretch. On the other side, Baylor over TCU for this spot was maybe the toughest decision I had to make. In the end, I think TCU's road schedule is more difficult, and Baylor has the experience playing with a target on its back that TCU lacks."
 
Yup. Is the hype due to recruiting? Dang sure ain't their record or play on the field.
These people are experts on football though and obviously see things changing. It all started when worley got hurt, peterman sucked, and Butch was forced to play dobbs. Thank goodness for injuries and absolute terrible play by peterman.

Your right,their record has sure not helped them.Its in creditable to have 3 straight losing seasons and get 2 straight top 5 ranked recruiting classes.I think this would certainly prove that Butch Jones is the best recruiter in the nation.
 
2 Top recruiting class, Returning 18!!! Starters, i'm gonna Guess Not many teams are returning that many starters, guys like Dobbs and Hurd all the receivers some key Guys on defense as well being a year older! The way Dobbs played and CBJ is why the Vols are getting all the Hype.

But think he was right when he said Vols may still be a year away from being a top 10 caliber team. Just hope for a improved solid season in 2015.

I think the only thing that could prevent the Vols from winning 9 games is if Dobbs got hurt.
 
Ole miss had alot of hype this season also. I hope vol players and staff are not listening to hype. We will know how good we are at kick off each week. Anybody who listen or puts any faith in what is suppose to happen hasnt been involved with sports very much.
