I've heard on this site and others that the vols did not do enough recruiting on offense. Remember the starting QB will be there 2 more years, the entire O-Line will be back besides 1 guy who played most the season with No ACL. And they had a couple O-Line guys redshirted this year. Hurd Wil be there 2 or 3 more years and were stocked at receiver. This is a few offense guys committed to the vols

WR, Preston Williams, 4 star, 34th outta the Espn 200, scout grade 87
OG, Jack Jones, 4 star, 112 outta the Espn 200, Scout grade 83
HB,Alvin kamara, 4 star, 2ed outta the jcEspn 50, scout grade 83
QB,Jauan Jennings, 4 star, scout grade 83
OT,Wendell Boulware,4 star, scout grade 81
QB, Quinten Dormady, 4 star, scout grade 80
OT, Chance Hall, 4 star, Scout grade 80
TE, Kyle Oliver, 3 star, scout grade 79
HB, Kendall Bussey, 4 star, scout grade 79

There is a few more like Vincent Perry and others I know the defense gets all the talk but with so many key guys coming back with these commits the offense would not look bad.

^^^ Agree only hope is the O-Line guys that started this season get better and play better with another year of practice and with a sec season under there belt. Hey they sure got some good pass rushers to play against in practice:)

Preston Williams is the real deal and should be a 5*, and the quality of OL talent that UT is getting is really good, but they need even more OL help. Kamara is a cancer and will be lucky to be on the team after next season... And that is not just stirring the pot

Sure looking forward to 2015,got some great young players and more on the way. Many sports analyst are picking Tennessee as the darkhorse team next year!

I agree Williams should be a 5*, he is on 247sports. On Kamara though what makes you think he's bad news? I've heard nothing but good about the guy since he left Alabama. Whatever happened I'm sure it got blown way out of proportion by Alabama fans from what I've came up with. Back in June when he committed I was listening to Tennessee sports radio and they spent a long period of time talking about everything that went on and didn't have anything but good to say about him.

Here's a short fairly recent read on him. I'm very very excited about him.

Yup I think CBJ has did ok his first two years. He did what was expected the last two year no more no less. His recruiting has been amazing.
I dont see a single reason why the vols should not improve again and win 7+ next season. CBJ got us to a 6-6 Bowl now he needs to start having winning regular seasons and I think they will start next season even if its just 7-5 its still improvement.

Its hard to say this team will will 9 games THIS SEASON when the entire O-Line and D-Line some say the most important spots on the field and I agree are mostly freshman and sophomores:/

I think Kamara will be fine, I think he is playing with a chip on his shoulder after Alabama letting him go, the coaches seem really confident that dontavious Blair, the 4* juco that was redshirted this year will step in at left tackle next year that will allow Kerbyson to move back to his normal guard position, they are still in good with adding another OT to this class as well as another RB, QB and a WR, so things are looking good as far as the recruiting class goes

I followed recruiting a lot more in years past, but during Kamara's recruitment and HS playing days he was always know as a "me first" player and a bit of a poor team mate and troublemaker; not necessarily getting in trouble with the law, just one who pushed the limits. He then went to UA and got kicked off of the team very quickly for the same stuff...

Don't get me wrong, I hope that he has turned it around and keeps his nose clean and plays great for UT, but I just don't see that happening based on past history. Just my .02

I understand, yeah they did hit on some stuff like that very briefly but never really got into it, but they were talking about how different of a player that he was and how he seemed like he was on the right track.....So hopefully he is good to go and straightened up. I don't think CBJ will take very much nonsense at all.
