So I was interested in catching the FL-TN game this year because a friend invited me. He's on row 1 of Section W. I looked for seats near that section and found some on row 3 of W for $1070 for 2 tickets! Is this normal or is there another place folks buy their tickets rather than taking out a second mortgage to watch a game. At this time home on the couch is where I'll be watching.

As much HYPE as that game will be.... Yeah tickets will be crazy!

Good thing my Brother in law has 7 season tickets directly on the 50 7 rows up and they start on the aisle. Only bad thing is...... They are on the TN side! haha (Plus, he is a UGA fan) buys the tickets for the family to go. Must be nice to have Dr. $$$$

tickets won't be cheap for that game. If you get tickets for a couple hundred dollars each then you've done good, just getting in the gate. For lower level sideline seats, I wouldn't doubt $300-$400 ea. Fortunately, I don't have to have a ticket.

If you just want in the game, wait right until kickoff and the scalpers will be begging to get rid of them. I'd say $30-50 will get you in if you are willing to risk it.

Ask all the people that tried this for the Oklahoma game last year how that worked out for them. It'll be the same for this game. I'm yet to see a football game that I would pay $300 a ticket for. People can buy season tickets for what they are dropping on a pair for the Florida and Bama games.
