So what are your hunting plans this spring?

I hope to make it to Chapel Hill again this year for a Mr/Mrs hunt.

Roost 1 is wanting to get together for a hunt....

I'd like to meet up with REN for a hunt....

Have planned to meet up with another forum member for a Mr/Mrs hunt.

A few members have talked about getting together for a hunt and that would be cool as well....
 
I will hit TN and KY for sure. I am trying to hit Bama and MS or GA this year but with a new baby and 2 other kiddos i may have to stay a bit more local this year.

I am down for a hunt in AEDC again or somewhere else if we can work it out. Griz you know your always welcome just give me a headsup on dates and i will just make sure with the landowner I hunt on that something else isn't going on.
 
You just let me know..... a week ahead if you can, a good time for you.... we can work our schedule more than likely.

Roost, what's it cost to hunt some other states? I might be able to get away. Depends on the house.

I could probably meet up sometime for a group hunt as well.
 
Starting in Alabama March 15th. It's historically been a tough hunt. The birds are still bunched up. Last year the flock was around 60-80 birds and it was tough to do anything with them. Hoping for better results this year.

TN, KY and some Ft. Campbell. I am down for an AEDC or bear hollow hunt. I haven't hunted the mountain in a lot of years, but there used to be a lot of turkeys up there.

I have an outside chance of making a South Caroline or a Missouri trip.

I just purchase a 3 day license for Alabama. It's about 130,00 for the 3 day. It's around 300 for a year. I know I only get down for 3 days to hunt before anything else is open.

I know they have a weird law about only 1 bird the first week, or something like that. I would probably be down for a trip. Let me review their season and regs.
 
Looks like season is April 21 to May 11. 2 turkeys, but only 1 during the first week. 2 can be taken, but only 1 per day the remainder of season.

190.00 non-resident. Unless you are a disabled vet, then you can buy resident tag.

Requires a plugged gun, but everything else looks pretty normal.

I don't think I can swing $190 plus food and lodging right now. I have to buy all my other tags first. Wish Ky didn't go up.
