Been hunting this bird for 2 weeks. Everytime I would get on him he would walk away gobbling. But his walking days are over. Got his hen to talking and she brought him by for a visit.

Nice work timberjack! I took a couple good ones on fredonia mnt the last couple weeks but got my but kicked yesterday. Couldnt get anything interested. Notice the kill numbers were down state wide. Maybe they will be running wild next weekend....

That's a cherry bark red oak. I don't remember how big it was but it was 50 in+ across.
