Just watched a youtube deal and they are saying the one dude that just stood there saying nothing already has a court date for a domestic violence charge.
Sounds like a great guy all the way around.

I wondered about this too, as the fish were clearly dead.I have never caught walleye, but I read where they donate the fish after a tournament. So are they expected to die after they are caught? I guess I assumed they were released after
The way I understand it they routinely catch them deep, like 70', and they won't live.I have never caught walleye, but I read where they donate the fish after a tournament. So are they expected to die after they are caught? I guess I assumed they were released after
Most things I've read seem to say this is also deadly. I've always argued it gave the fish a better chance than watching them float away in the surface.I'm guessing you can't fizz them like bass then. I fished a tourney on table rock and we caught em down to 70-80 and we would fizz them. I'm guessing if there was a way to release them, they would
Cause they died of lead poisoning!!!!They looked like they had been dead a while. Off color and everything. And they said that they had denied giving their fish to the charity or whatever takes the fish after the tourney at other tournament
I believe the difference between 2nd place and 1st place winnings would constitute a felon... I might be wrong but a felony theft is $500 or more in most places...here is a twist, they seized his boat. said boat was used in the commission of a crime. pretty smart on the DA's part. i dont think they can do that in TN unless its a felony now thanks to john stevens.
Boat, trailer seized from man accused of cheating in walleye tournament
A boat and trailer were seized Tuesday from a Hermitage man who is accused of cheating in a fishing tournament in Cleveland Sept. 30.fox8.com
Good point!Cause they died of lead poisoning!!!!
I agree and I used to fish 2 a month.Wouldn't break my heart if they ended all fishing tournaments.
I read somewhere else that you don't have to keep them alive, and some guys put them strait on ice and don't even use livewells.I have never caught walleye, but I read where they donate the fish after a tournament. So are they expected to die after they are caught? I guess I assumed they were released after
i was speaking of what the twra is allowed to do.I believe the difference between 2nd place and 1st place winnings would constitute a felon... I might be wrong but a felony theft is $500 or more in most places...
Just a misunderstanding... i was not thinking TWRA but actual law enforcement for the felony of theft by deception....i was speaking of what the twra is allowed to do.
i believe some of those guys at the weigh in said they were catching them at 72 feet which would cause the benz. main reason i dont fish for sauger in the summer at 60 feet. they make a weighted clip that you attach to the fishes mouth, sink it back to the bottom and then give it a jerk to release the fish. supposedly it works very well to release short fish. The way I understand it they routinely catch them deep, like 70', and they won't live.
I also "heard" the cheaters never donate their fish.
Wouldn't break my heart if they ended all fishing tournaments.
I agree. I do like the way they do the kayak tournaments though. Put the fish on a measuring board with your tourney number, take a pic and release. They go by length, not weight.Wouldn't break my heart if they ended all fishing tournaments.
