I have a place where someone "may" snatch the cam I attach and may not.. Yep its private however some kids ride ATV's through there some so it may get seen..

Anyway, I've never put up a trail cam and would like to go to Wally World or somewhere and just grab up a decent inexpensive model to get me started..

Recommendations:

Ones to stay away from:

Wildview Ez cam has been good to me.I get 3 weeks battery life from it.Its on its 3rd year. And it gets used all summer long and a little during season.

wildgame innovations ir6 works the best for about $60 or a primos 35 for $100 i have both and the work better than most $150+ got pics if u want to see

IMO stay away from IR cams..Good battery life but the deer do notice them. Go with white flash or black flash cams.

I will echo what cecil said. Wildview samples:

I am trying a moultrie out right now. Stay away from primos! There cams are easy to use but if the bite the dust dont count on primos to honor any warranty. They will not return my phone calls and emails even though my camera is still under warranty.

According to what is inexpensive but some buddies of mine jus got some new for 85. Its called the stealth cam unit. They had and used them last year with great results! They got some great videos over scrapes as well... Here is video on you tube: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Vl3FzHTc13o
