Want a good drop away rest?

I have a QAD ultra rest pro HD and love it, however, last night I shot my friend's Hoyt Maxxis 31 with this NAP Apache rest and it was very nice and half the price of my QAD. Really loved the idea of not requiring any tools for adjustments. Would definately recomment this site because of the price and functions, however, I hated loading the arrow on the string having to feed it through the tunnel.

Just never been comfortable with anything "mechanical" when it comes to bow stuff...JMO

Just like loading a Whisker Biscuit . :) Takes a split second .

Radar -- I played with some drop away rests in the past but never was that impressed with them. I'm kinda like you though, these newer ones are starting to get my attention. Such as the Apache here.

I'm looking into a few of them; researching what I can. I'm looking at the NAP Apache, the Trophy Taker "Smack Down FC", and the AAE "Pro Drop". The "Pro Drop" isn't out yet but basically its suppose to follow along the lines of the "Limb Driver" and attaches to the limb instead of the bus cables. The "Smack Down" is the same way; attaches to the limb.

Keep us updated on the Apache!!

I really like the drop away rest. I have used several models...Trap Door and a Trophy Taker. Both models are very reliable. I bought one couple of yrs ago and have used it on a couple different bows. It is a Cavalier Avalanche. I have looked for it in a few catalogs and and found that Sure Loc is making one just like. But it id very quite and has a biult in arrow holder on the rest. Just my two cents worth. Here is a look at it...
