I suspect this will make some of you shake your head, and others furious. Lewis County yesterday.

Lol... 'may' have been harvested over bait. Poor turkeys didnt stand a chance. Probably a Jenny as well. Just sad. No wonder nonhunters often become antihunters

A picture is worth a thousand words.. there is so much wrong in those pictures it's disgusting... they feel the need to bait them to have a gurantee kill. Then they flock shoot and kill a hen.. and to top it off there to darn lazy to dispose of them "out of sight out of mind" they chunk them out on obviously a well maintained highway for everyone to get a bad taste. I ain't impressed the least bit

I won't comment on the hen but the corn I will. I don't bait but I killed a deer this past season. Full of corn. I have no idea where it came from and me and my uncle were the only ones with permission to hunt. We do know a guy several tracts over used to feed them but I'm not sure he still lives there and it's over a half mile away.

I killed a turkey on public land a few years ago that was full of corn. Found out later that a nearby field on private was baited and the GW was trying to catch them.

Here's some of the responses I got this morning:

"Who cares, there's more turkeys than ever before"

"None of your business"

"I've seen more turkeys on my daddy's farm than ever, hunters are just being picky on what they are killing now"

"Nobody hunts turkeys anymore"

These are non-hunters
