Just bought a pair of under armour boots from Bass Pro....Don't know how good they will be but will try them out as soon as it gets warm during the season. They ar goretex lined and are supposed to be water proof. I don't really care if they are or not if it is warm weather. When it is cold or very cool, I usually wear my zip up Cabela's snake boots. (They really work because I have had them for about five years and never seen a snake while I had them on).

Cannot wear rubber boots....feet sweat too much and never have found any that fit correctly. I had rather have wet feet from rain or heavy dew that sweat.

I've worn a pair of lacross grange for the last 5 years. They are on their last leg so I just bought a pair of Danner Jackals. They seem really comfortable, but we shall see.

I like the looks of Danner Jackals im just curious on traction with them they dont look like they have much tread.
