Rain was supposed to let up around 1-2pm but after 6 hours cramped in a ground blind it was still raining at 4pm. Finally the last of rain on the radar was headed out so I got up to move and try and strike one up once the woods got quiet. Well instead of quitting, it rained harder and didn't let up until I finally made it back to the truck. I'm going to another spot and lord willing if this freaking rain has quit I will try and see if a bird will gobble. I hate this crap, remind me not to hunt in the rain again anytime soon.
