having heard no birds and seen no sign on us in roane county, i decided to go to morgan county and go in blind, no scouting. walking up a old roadbed in the dark, it looked like turkeys had been raking leaves. i picked a spot thinking they may come back. after sitting for a couple of hours and seeing or hearing nothing, i headed out. inspecting the "scratching" in the daylight revealed it had been rooted 3 inches deep and there were little round hoof prints. i spent the morning turkey hunting in hog sign lol

Lol that's kind of funny but sucks. I get paranoid if I see anything that resembles hog sign, I don't want anything to do with them

the hog sign is getting more prevalent there every year. i have only actually seen them once.
