Waterproof box call

Anyone got one i bought an hs strut one today and it says you dont have to chalk it. Does that coating start coming off or does it hold up good and do you have to do anything to care for it

I have one and the black is coming off somewhat but it still works good. I havent had to chalk it yet but Im sure I will.

Only waterproof I like is the wet box.

I use mostly mouth calls though

I've got that Knight and Hale Wet Willy waterproof box. I got it to use just when it rains, but it sounds so good that I've just been carrying it lately and leaving my chalk boxes at home.
K&H says you can use it in wet or dry conditions.
I'll be taking it out in the morning with me again, and hope it brings em in!!!
