Anyone ever deer hunt or have any information about Iron Hill Island or Goat Island? I know that it's archery only, but just wondering if it's worth checking out.

I've hunted Iron Hill a few times. Seems to be not much pressure. The island is quite thick and access can be tricky with the main channel side typically having steep banks and the other side being quite shallow, especially during low winter pool. Definitely deer on the island. It does go to buck only during the gun/archery/muzzleloader season.
I do enjoy the quitness of hunting the islands, only noise you'll hear is the occasional plane and a few bass boats buzzing by.
