Team Grizzly is on the board.... Two birds this morning... Mrs. Grizzly's was 22lbs, 1.5" spurs, 9" beard. Mine was 21lbs, 1" spurs, 10.5" & 3.5" beards... My first multi-beard and our first 2 birds in one morning!! With Spur Mountain Outfitters .... Nothing like sharing the outdoors with your spouse.

Very nice! Must be cool getting to hunt with your wife.

We were married several years before I finally talked her into taking her hunter safety course.... specifically to try turkey hunting. I opened her eyes to many of wonderful things a a hunter gets to experience during time the woods come alive.... the cool breeze on your neck, the birds singing out, the warm feeling of the rising sun hitting you on the face... the musty smell of the woods.

She was sitting beside me in a buddy stand when I killed my biggest buck to date.... as I with her when she missed her first deer, an 8pt 15 minutes after I shot my buck.

It's much easier justifying the investment when your spouse actually sees the time, money, equipment, and rewards hunting brings.... The sight of her jumping at a very close, unexpected gobble... the heavy breathing as a gobbling turkey finally comes into view... and the look on her face caused by a flopping turkey... well that's priceless!!!

I have been blessed by having several great friends... and a wife that also shares the woods with me & fishes from time to time!!
