Me and MarkII spotted a strutter and 9 hens about 300yds out in a cut cornfield. We get behind Pretty Boy and begin the long crawl. We get to 40 yds and the Strutter comes at us hard! In order to crawl easier MarkII left his gun at the 200yd mark so when the Tom got to about 10 yds I hand him my gun. He let the ole boy come all the way to 5yds before he shot! At the shot the hens jumped up and all landed within feet of us! It was pretty awesome to get withing 5 yds of a mature turkey!
10" Beard, 7/8"spurs, and 23lbs!

Congrats boys job well done. Blue had a nice frog leg dinner tonight me you and turkeyburd need to make it a weekly thing!
 
Hey there "one" sounds like your having trouble with the crouching tiger hidden dragon technique/ I am more than happy to teach it to you!!!! We need to go some time on a more serious note.
 
That's a smart way to get within range. They get tunnel vision on ole pretty boy. Great job and nice bird.
