Sometimes racks are deformed one season & straighten up. Other times they stay weird. These two looked the same last year but now are a little bigger. Not sure what caused it but it's not seeming like it's going to change.

I'm fairly sure this is the other one. Last year his right side was broken off so can't really tell what it was. But his left side had the weird flared out brow tine that looked more like a sticker than normal tine. This year it appears his right side is growing in normal but left side looks like it may follow suit as last year as a spike with a weird sticker plus possibly a normal brow? They ran together last year from velvet through shed, and looks like they're still running together. Neither are impressive monsters by any stretch but it's neat watching the weirdos grow up too.

2022 was the year of deformed racks. I believe that was due to the intense fighting in 2021. It was nuts. Haven't seen any pics this year yet. Sometimes they correct and sometimes they don't depending on the severity of the injury

Agree completely. I've never seen so many "messed up" racks as last year.

Cool you have been able to follow them. We have had plenty of goofed up racks on deer around here. Have been able to follow one for sure from one season to the next. Wife killed that one, he had been one heck of a fighter and had splintered his antlers by the youth hunt the first season we watched him.
