After shooting my old bow for 7 years I finally broke down and bought a new one. I settled on a Bowtech Invasion CPX, it shot really well, was super quiet and fast! Season can get here fast enough!

I'll post some pics when I pick it up next week. It was funny, I pulled it off the shelf and shot it three times without sights and decided I had to have it. Gotta figure out what sight and rest I want. Ive been shooting a whisker biscuit but im thinking about a drop away. Any suggestions? I havent bought any archery equipment in awhile!

I've seen a bunch of 3D guys shooting the Octane Hostage XL. I was actually thinking of giving it a go this season to see how much better it does than a whisker biscuit.
The guys I spoke to about it said they love it. They said it's just like the whisker biscuit with less contact on the shaft. I'd say it's probably much quieter than a drop away also. Maybe quieter than a whisker biscuit.

BTW, govols; because you posted this thread, you have motivated me to go ahead and get the Invasion CPX. I've had my eye on it for a few months, but wasn't gonna pull the trigger because I am interested in the Z7 Extreme as well. But the Invasion is just soooo much smoother and seems to be way more solid.

awesome man!

as far as rest i switched from the biscuit to the rip cord and could not be happier so definitly look into that one as well as the QAD rest. both seem to be very popular and have pros and cons for each one.
